Pick the right starting point

Four assessments. One for wherever you are right now.

Each one is scoped to a specific question. If you’re not sure which fits, the free intro call will sort it out.

01 — AI Readiness

Should we be doing AI at all, and if so, what do we build first?

A full current-state read of your data, stack, and team. Ranked opportunities. A recommended first build with scope, cost, and timeline. The document your future engineer picks up and runs with.

  • • Current-state assessment
  • • Ranked AI opportunities
  • • Recommended first build + scope
  • • Hire / build / buy recommendation
02 — Opportunity Evaluation

We have a specific AI idea. Is it actually worth building?

A focused feasibility and impact analysis for a single AI initiative. We stress-test the assumption, model the upside, and tell you whether the juice is worth the squeeze before you commit budget.

  • • Feasibility analysis
  • • Impact & risk scoring
  • • Build vs. buy vs. skip recommendation
  • • Vendor / tooling shortlist if applicable
03 — Enterprise Readiness

We’re scaling up. Is our infrastructure and team set up for AI at this size?

An audit of your data governance, infrastructure, and team structure against the demands of running AI in production across a growing organization. Gap analysis with a prioritized remediation plan.

  • • Data & infrastructure audit
  • • Governance & compliance gap analysis
  • • Team structure recommendations
  • • Prioritized remediation roadmap
04 — AI ROI Assessment

We’ve built something. How do we know if it’s actually working?

A quantitative review of an existing AI investment. We tie outputs to business outcomes, identify what’s leaking value, and produce a clear-eyed report on whether to double down, fix, or wind down.

  • • Business outcome mapping
  • • Value leakage analysis
  • • Performance benchmarking
  • • Double down / fix / wind down recommendation
Honest qualification

When an assessment isn’t the right next step.

[ ✓ ]An assessment is right if

  • You have a real business and a specific AI question you need answered in writing.
  • You want a deliverable a co-founder, investor, or future engineer can act on.
  • You’re prepared to act on the recommendations, or to honestly say “not yet.”
  • You can absorb the cost without it being a make-or-break expense.

[ × ]It’s not right if

  • You haven’t validated the business yet. Build the thing first; we can talk later.
  • You want validation, not analysis. I’ll tell you what I think, not what you want to hear.
  • You need an answer in 24 hours. The work takes days to do properly.
  • You already have a CTO or senior ML lead in-house. You probably don’t need me.
FAQ

What founders ask before booking.

How do I know which assessment is right for me?
The free 15-min intro call is the easiest way. If you want to self-select: AI Readiness if you’re starting from scratch, Opportunity Evaluation if you have a specific idea to pressure-test, Enterprise Readiness if you’re scaling and worried about infrastructure, ROI Assessment if you’ve already shipped something and aren’t sure it’s working.
Why does this start with a free call instead of just letting me pay?
Sometimes the right answer is “you don’t need an assessment” — and I’d rather tell you that than take your money. The intro is also how I make sure I can do useful work for you before either of us commits.
Can an assessment lead into a build?
Often, yes. About 60% of Readiness and Opportunity Assessments lead to a Proof-of-Concept or build. The assessment scopes the build, so the transition is fast and the price is known up front.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes. Mutual NDAs go out on request before the kickoff call. I’m comfortable working under most standard mutual NDAs.
Can you do this faster?
Sometimes — depends on the scope. Narrow questions (e.g., “is this vendor proposal real?”) can move faster. Mention your deadline on the intro call and I’ll tell you whether it’s workable.
What’s the refund policy?
If I take payment and then realize during discovery that I can’t do useful work for you, I refund in full and tell you what to do instead. After delivery, no refunds — the report is the product.

Start with the free intro. We’ll figure out which assessment fits in fifteen minutes.

No pitch. You’ll leave with a clear recommendation — even if that recommendation is that you don’t need an assessment at all.
